I meant to include this with yesterday's post...

I think I posted this link once before quite awhile ago, but wanted to do it again. One of the dear Guatemalan families we met in Guatemala has started a school just outside of Antigua for children who can't afford school. They started in January, but continue to look for sponsors for students. Their blog is called "On Their Behalf". These little kids are just precious. There are some new pictures up this weekend and as I look at them, my heart hurts. Please join me in praying for these kids, their families and that God would raise up sponsors for them. There's info on the blog about how to sponsor if you're interested. The U.S. contacts are friends of ours here in the KC area.

You know you live in Missouri when....

... it is 60 on Thursday and snows five inches on Saturday!

And it is supposed to be 50 again on Monday and 70 by the middle of next week! It has snowed a couple of times since Samuel has been home, but this was the first time we were able to get out an play. My parents have a great hill so we headed to their house with the Whitworth's for some sledding. The vote is that Jimmy and the dog, Buddy, had more fun than anyone else.

Almost 18 Months...

Samuel will be 18 months this week! He's doing well- getting into everything and talking more. Much to my dismay, his new favorite phrase is "All done!" I don't know where he picked it up, as I have worked hard to speak Spanish to him most of the time and always say "No mas!" when he's done eating. He does say "agua" and "mas", so there is hope for some bilingualism... or just cute Spanglish.

We've had a good couple of weeks around here. I turned the big 3-0 and survived. Being 30 isn't too bad so far! Samuel had his first overnight at the grandparents. Apparently he slept well, just not sure how well the grandparents slept as Samuel was between them! Samuel also had his first sleepover experience at home. Erick stayed the night Saturday and they had a great time. Today we made another trip to the newly rennovated Fritz's (train restaurant) with Miss Bella. Here are a few pictures....
