We're back...

Not sure if anyone will still read this since I've had it closed for several months!! We are getting ready to head back to Guatemala in a few weeks. We've started a blog for our trip. Here is the link. Right now it just has some basic info about the trip, but as we get closer and head out, there will be more pictures and blog posts during the trip.

We are working with Kairos Christian School for the majority of our trip. Our team is taking donations to the school. If you'd like to donate- here is the list of items we still need:
letter size plain paper
letter size graph paper
1/2" ruled w/ guideline paper (like for practicing handwriting)
book binder
letter size spiral spine for books
hard covers to make books
letter size plastic covers (we received 5-10 fabric book covers)
1.5" white letter size binders
vitamins
used clothes (sizes 6-14)
shoes - tennis shoes and black shoes (kids'sizes)

On a personal note- we're doing great! It's been a crazy, but great past month! I got hired last minute to teach Spanish 101 part-time at the local community college which is a huge blessing. We put our house on the market and it sold in 2 weeks. We have bought a house in Blue Springs and if all goes well, we'll be moving in a couple of weeks- yikes! Samuel is doing great- just turned two and is one happy kid!
